DIN 916:1980 Hex Socket Cup Point Set Screw

DIN 916:1980 Hex Socket Cup Point Set Screw is a widely used locking set screw with a hex socket drive and a cup point, designed to provide strong holding force on shafts, collars, hubs, and similar components.

The cup point creates an edge-biting action during tightening, helping improve resistance to loosening in light to medium vibration environments. The hex socket enables stable torque application, making the screw common in production assembly, equipment maintenance, and standardized spare parts.

This product is used on pulleys, couplings, sprockets, adjustment rings, handwheels, and many mechanical locating components. High-strength alloy steel, stainless steel, or protected carbon steel can be selected to meet durability requirements in different operating conditions.
