Slotted Screws

Slotted screws carry a single straight groove across the head, representing the original screw drive format and remaining practical for manual installation in low-torque, decorative, and legacy maintenance applications.

Drive Characteristics: The single slot accepts any flat-blade screwdriver, providing universal tool accessibility for field repair without specialized equipment, while the open-ended groove allows controlled driver disengagement as an informal torque limit on delicate materials.

Application Scope: Common in wooden furniture, door and window hardware, decorative panel fixings, plumbing accessories, and heritage equipment where traditional appearance and unrestricted tool access are appropriate.

Head Forms: Available in flat, pan, round, and countersunk profiles to suit surface-flush or proud installation requirements across a range of joint configurations.

Materials and Standards: Produced in carbon steel and stainless steel to DIN 84, DIN 963, and ISO 1207 equivalent specifications, with zinc plating, nickel plating, and blackening surface options.
