Wing Nuts

Wing nuts feature two symmetrical protruding wings that allow tightening and loosening by hand without any tools, enabling fast, tool-free fastening in applications requiring frequent manual adjustment or inspection access.

Manual Operation: The wide wings provide sufficient lever arm for hand grip to develop adequate clamping force for light-duty and medium-duty joints, practical where tools are unavailable or repeated adjustments are necessary.

Application Scope: Common on inspection panels, laboratory equipment, camera accessories, tent and outdoor furniture hardware, and any assembly designed for frequent user-operated disassembly and reassembly.

Design Variants: Available in standard symmetric wing forms and heavy-duty cast versions with larger wing profiles for higher manual torque applications across metric and imperial sizes.

Materials and Standards: Produced in carbon steel, stainless steel, and zinc alloy to DIN 315 and equivalent specifications, with zinc plating, chrome plating, and stainless finishes available.
