Thread rods are continuous full-threaded cylindrical bars. Because the thread runs the entire length, nuts, couplers and fixtures can be positioned and locked at any point along the bar, which allows adjustable mounting heights and lengths without pre-cut dimensions. We supply the range in three standard references and in project-specific cut lengths.

Materials and Thread Selection

Carbon steel and stainless steel are the two base material families we produce for thread rods. Carbon steel is normally selected for structural and general support duty where a protective finish is applied; stainless steel is selected where corrosion resistance, hygiene or outdoor exposure governs. Low-alloy steel is available for higher-strength bolting duties.

Cutting to the project schedule reduces on-site waste and removes the need for secondary machining at the installation point. For long spans and vertical hanger runs, cut length, end squareness and straightness are confirmed together, because a rod that is cut accurately but not straight will not hang cleanly.

Quality Control and Acceptance

Thread rods pass through in-process inspection and a final inspection stage before packing. Our laboratory is equipped with a spectrometer, coordinate measuring machine and X-ray flaw detector, which allows chemical composition, mechanical properties, non-destructive testing and geometric dimensions to be monitored across a production batch.

Correct engagement length, nut grade and finish compatibility matter more than the rod alone, because a mismatched nut or a dissimilar finish at a joint will govern the service life of the assembly. We supply matched nut and washer sets from our own production so the thread fit and finish are consistent across the assembly.

• Confirm nut engagement and coupler length against the design load.
• Keep plated and stainless components separated where galvanic corrosion is a risk.
• Protect cut ends on galvanized rods with a suitable repair coating.
• Inspect exposed threads periodically in outdoor and wet service.

Standard export cartons, bundles and pallets are used according to length and quantity, with retail-ready or bulk packing selected per order.
