Countersunk Head Bolts

Countersunk head bolts feature a tapered flat head designed to sit fully flush within a countersunk recess, producing a smooth, unobstructed surface after installation where protrusion is functionally or aesthetically unacceptable.

Head Geometry: The conical underside mates precisely with the countersunk recess angle, typically 90 degrees, distributing clamping load along the taper and preventing lateral movement under shear forces during service.

Application Scope: Widely used in precision instruments, flat panel furniture, electronic casings, and aerospace assemblies where a flush surface is required for clearance, safety, or appearance reasons.

Materials and Standards: Available in carbon steel and stainless steel to DIN 963, ISO 2009, and equivalent specifications, covering standard metric and imperial thread ranges.

Surface Treatment: Zinc electroplating, anodizing for aluminum versions, and blackening finishes are available to meet both functional and aesthetic requirements.
