Hexagon Socket Screws
Hexagon socket screws feature a cylindrical head with an internal hex recess, enabling high-torque application and flush installation in confined spaces where external drive formats cannot be used.
Drive Advantage: The internal hex socket allows a key or wrench to apply torque deep within the head recess, transmitting significantly greater force than surface drive types while keeping the head profile compact and low.
Flush Installation: Installed into a counterbored hole, the cylindrical head sits at or below the workpiece surface, removing protrusions that would obstruct movement, interfere with assembly, or detract from a precision machined surface appearance.
Application Scope: Standard in machine tool construction, mold making, automation equipment, hydraulic assemblies, and any precision application requiring high clamping force in limited-access locations.
Materials and Standards: Produced in alloy steel and stainless steel to DIN 912, ISO 4762, and ANSI B18.3, with strength grades 8.8, 10.9, and 12.9 for different structural demands.
