Torx Screw

Torx screws have a six-pointed star recess that maximizes driver contact area, enabling higher torque transmission than Phillips or hex drives while virtually eliminating cam-out during high-cycle assembly operations.

Drive Performance: The six-lobe profile distributes torque across full lobe faces rather than edges, reducing localized stress and extending both driver bit and screw recess life in automated production environments.

Tamper Resistance: Security Torx variants incorporate a center post requiring a hollow driver for engagement, creating an effective disassembly barrier in automotive components, public furniture, and electronics without adding bulk to the fastener head.

Application Scope: Standard in automotive manufacturing, precision electronics, medical device production, and high-volume processes where drive consistency, tool life, and reliable torque control are critical.

Materials and Standards: Produced in carbon steel and stainless steel to ISO 14583 and OEM equivalent specifications, covering standard Torx sizes from T1 through T100 across common head forms.
