DIN 7976:1990 Hex Head Tapping Screw

DIN 7976:1990 Hex Head Tapping Screw uses an external hex head and tapping thread, making it suitable for sheet metal and light structural connections that require higher installation torque, wrench or socket operation, and strong bearing pressure.

The hex head allows quick tightening with socket tools and is practical where installation space is relatively open. The tapping thread forms its mating thread in a prepared hole, reducing the need for nuts and tapping operations while improving field installation and production efficiency.

This product can be used for sheet metal, ventilation ducts, light steel structures, equipment brackets, vehicle accessories, and industrial housings. Zinc plating, stainless steel, or other protective treatments can be selected to improve corrosion resistance in outdoor or humid environments.
