ASME/ANSI B18.6.3:2010 Hex Head Tapping Screw
ASME/ANSI B18.6.3:2010 Hex Head Tapping Screw is suitable for light metal fastening under the U.S. standard system. The external hex head supports wrench or socket driving and is useful where higher installation torque and reliable clamping force are needed.
The tapping thread reduces dependence on pre-tapping and rear nuts, improving field installation efficiency. The design is also convenient to remove and retighten during maintenance, making it suitable for enclosures, brackets, sheet metal parts, and industrial equipment accessories.
This product is used in export machinery, HVAC equipment, metal housings, vehicle components, and general engineering assemblies. Different materials, finishes, and point types can be selected according to drawings for corrosion protection and standardized supply.
