DIN 609:2016 Hex Head Fit Hole Long Thread Bolt

DIN 609:2016 Hex Head Fit Hole Long Thread Bolt is used where hole fit, positioning accuracy, and shear-bearing performance are required. The fit-hole design helps reduce assembly clearance and improves relative stability between connected components.

The long thread increases clamping adjustment range, making it suitable for thick plates, multi-layer structures, or assemblies that need extended thread engagement. Its hex head supports controlled tightening in mechanical structures, tooling equipment, support parts, and locating joints.

① A-type or R-type centering holes can be set according to DIN 332-1 (centering holes are suitable for products that require additional [large diameter polished rod] screws. For products that do not require additional screws, the centering holes are determined by the manufacturer)

② Material:

a) Steel, strength grade (material): d≤39mm: 8.8; d>39mm according to agreement. StandardDIN EN ISO 898-1

b) Stainless steel, strength grade (material): d≤20mm: A2-70; 20 < d≤39mm: A2-50; d > 39mm according to agreement. Standard DIN EN ISO 3506-1, DIN EN ISO 3506-3

c) Non-ferrous metals, performance levels: CU2, CU3. StandardDIN EN 28839
