DIN 915:1980 Hex Socket Dog Point Set Screw

DIN 915:1980 Hex Socket Dog Point Set Screw features a cylindrical dog point that can enter a hole, slot, or guide feature to provide positive stopping, guiding, and anti-rotation functions. The hex socket drive supports stable torque application.

Compared with a pointed end, the dog point is better suited for repeated disassembly and controlled positioning, while reducing excessive cutting at the edge of the locating hole. It is useful where a set screw must provide both locking and locating performance.

This product can be used in machine tool fixtures, transmission accessories, locating blocks, slide rail assemblies, and industrial automation equipment. Standard sizes can be supplied with different lengths, materials, strength classes, and finishes to improve assembly accuracy and long-term reliability.
