DIN 7972:1990 Countersunk Head Slotted Tapping Screw

DIN 7972:1990 Countersunk Head Slotted Tapping Screw uses a countersunk head, slotted drive, and tapping thread. After installation, the head can sit flush or nearly flush with the surface, making it suitable for joints requiring a smooth appearance and unobstructed surface.

The countersunk form reduces protrusion and helps prevent snagging or interference. The tapping thread forms a connection in sheet metal or plastic pilot holes, allowing light-duty fastening without a rear nut.

This product is used on panels, covers, sheet metal parts, plastic housings, decorative components, and light equipment enclosures. Different materials and surface treatments can be selected to balance appearance, corrosion resistance, and fastening strength.
