DIN 478:2016 Square Head Bolt

DIN 478:2016 Square Head Bolt features a square head with an integral bearing surface. The head can be gripped with a wrench, while the bearing face helps enlarge the contact area and reduce local surface damage.

The square head can provide anti-rotation benefits in fixtures, channels, or special locating structures, improving stability during assembly. The integrated bearing surface may also reduce the need for a separate washer in certain mounting positions, simplifying installation.

This bolt is used for machine tool accessories, fixtures, rail clamps, bracket fixing, and industrial equipment connections. Different strength classes and surface treatments can be selected for heavy loads, repeated disassembly, or corrosion-sensitive environments.
