DIN 968:2008 Pan Head Phillips Tapping Screw

DIN 968:2008 Pan Head Phillips Tapping Screw features a pan head, Phillips drive, and integrated bearing surface. The enlarged head contact area provides more even clamping on sheet metal or softer materials.

The washer-style bearing surface can reduce the need for a separate washer, simplify assembly, and help limit local panel deformation. The Phillips drive is suitable for production assembly, and the tapping thread forms its mating thread in a prepared hole for improved efficiency.

This product is suitable for appliances, electronic enclosures, metal panels, light brackets, plastic parts, and ventilation equipment. Different materials and finishes can be selected to meet requirements for rust protection, appearance consistency, assembly speed, and reliable light-duty fastening.
