DIN 2093 (B):2013 Type B Washer

DIN 2093 (B):2013 Type B Disc Spring Washer is used in systems requiring high spring force, compact installation space, and controlled deflection. The disc-shaped structure can generate significant axial load when compressed, making it suitable for preloading, cushioning, and displacement compensation.

It is commonly applied in clutches, brake mechanisms, molds, valves, bearing preload systems, and mechanical adjustment devices. When multiple washers are stacked, series or parallel arrangements can change the spring characteristics to meet different load and travel requirements.

Selection should consider outside diameter, inside diameter, thickness, material elasticity, and working temperature. Suitable surface treatment should also be chosen for corrosive environments to maintain long-term spring stability.

  • A screw is a fastening tool that utilizes the principle of an inclined spiral plane to join or secure objects together. Its core structure consists of a cylindrical body with continuous threads (like spiral ridges), typically featuring a head at one end for convenient rotation. When turned, the rotational motion is con...

Simply put, a nut is a small metal block or disc with a round hole in the center and internal threads on the wall of that hole. • Simply put, a bolt is a cylindrical fastener with external threads. It works with a matching nut or is screwed directly into a threaded hole of the mating part to firmly hold two or more components together. To put it intuitively, think of it as a "metal nail." However, unlike a nail that is driven in with a hammer, a ...
