DIN 463:1974 Washer

DIN 463:1974 Double Tab Lock Washer has two bendable tabs that create a more secure mechanical lock against a nut or adjacent structure after assembly. The two-tab design can be bent in different directions according to installation space, improving locking flexibility and reliability.

It is suitable for shaft ends, transmission devices, bearing locking, equipment servicing, and fastening points exposed to vibration. By bending the tabs to restrict relative rotation, it provides dependable locking without requiring a complex anti-loosening system.

The washer can be selected by thread size, tab shape, and material, with zinc plating, black oxide, or stainless steel options available to meet different corrosion-protection and maintenance-cycle requirements.
