DIN 980 (V):1987 Type V All Metal Lock Nut

DIN 980 (V):1987 Type V All-Metal Lock Nut provides reliable resistance to loosening through a special locking form. It is suitable for connections where nylon inserts are not appropriate or where temperature and oil exposure may affect performance. The V-type structure helps create sustained clamping resistance in the thread contact.

This product can be applied in mechanical transmissions, vehicle parts, industrial equipment, pump and valve accessories, and maintenance assemblies. The all-metal form offers good durability in repeated assembly and harsh environments, making it suitable for safety-critical joints.

Materials and surface treatments can be selected according to load and corrosion conditions to maintain locking performance and service life after installation.
