DIN 42013:1988 Wave Spring Washer is a wave spring washer designed for bearing support and contact-surface management in fastening assemblies. It focuses on improving load bearing, cushioning, or adjustment behavior under clamping force. The DIN standard background helps keep dimensional requirements clear across drawings, purchasing, and quality inspection, while also making it easier to pair with adjacent screws, bolts, or clamping elements.
In practical assembly, it uses wave-form elastic deflection to provide axial preload and clearance compensation, especially in compact bearing positions such as small electric motors. It helps control axial play, reduce operating vibration, and maintain more stable support over long service periods, reducing the influence of localized contact stress on the workpiece surface and improving stability at the fastening point.
The product can be supplied in carbon steel, stainless steel, or other specified materials, with finishes such as black oxide, zinc plating, or phosphating. For batch purchasing, outside diameter, thickness, hole size, tolerance, and packaging can be coordinated to meet equipment manufacturing and spare-parts requirements.
