JB/T 6687:1993 12-Point Flange Nut features a twelve-point drive profile combined with an integrated flange bearing surface, making it suitable for compact joints requiring efficient tightening. The twelve-point geometry allows tool repositioning at smaller angles, while the flange increases contact area and improves local clamping behavior.
It can be used in engine components, mechanical transmission units, compact equipment, and high-strength assemblies. Compared with a standard hex nut, the twelve-point form offers advantages in tool accessibility, torque transfer, and assembly speed, especially where quick positioning and stable preload are required.
