DIN 34805-2:2018 Pan Head Torx Screw

DIN 34805-2:2018 Pan Head Torx Screw combines a Torx drive with a pan head, making it suitable for fastening points that require reliable clamping, removable maintenance, and standardized assembly. The DIN standard background helps keep dimensional requirements clear across drawings, purchasing, and quality inspection, supporting smooth alignment between engineering drawings, purchasing lists, and quality inspection.

From an assembly perspective, the six-lobe recess distributes torque more evenly, making it suitable for automated assembly and applications where recess wear control matters. At the same time, the low domed head balances bearing area with a clean appearance, leaving a defined head profile without excessive surface marking, so the screw can provide stable fastening performance across different sheet thicknesses, appearance requirements, and space limitations.

It is commonly used in electrical equipment, instrument panels, cabinet components, and general mechanical assemblies. It can be supplied in carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and other materials, with zinc plating, nickel plating, black oxide, phosphating, or other finishes to balance corrosion resistance, appearance, and assembly friction.
