DIN 981 (HM):2009 HM Type Lock Locknut Nut

DIN 981 (HM):2009 HM Type Bearing Lock Nut is used for axial positioning and locking of bearings, sleeves, and shaft assemblies. It is commonly used with MS-type locking washers or similar components to help maintain bearing position and control axial clearance.

Applications include machine-tool spindles, gearboxes, pumps, transmission systems, and precision rotating components. Compared with ordinary nuts, bearing lock nuts place greater emphasis on thread accuracy, end-face contact, and coordinated use with locking washers.

Suitable models and surface finishes can be selected according to shaft diameter, thread size, and operating environment to support long-term stable operation of rotating equipment.
