DIN 660:2012 Round Head Rivet

DIN 660:2012 Round Head Rivet combines a round head rivet design for small diameters from 1 mm to 8 mm and is suitable for assemblies requiring permanent fastening, a rounded appearance, and compact size.

After riveting, the shank end is deformed to create mechanical retention without threads, making it suitable for joints that are not intended for frequent removal. Compared with ordinary fasteners, this form places more emphasis on controllable installation, surface protection, and efficient management of matching parts for engineering projects requiring stable supply.

It is commonly used in instrument housings, metal nameplates, light brackets, luggage hardware, and small machinery parts. According to drawings or service conditions, aluminum, copper, steel, stainless steel, and surface treatments can be selected to improve overall fastening performance and service life.
