DIN 6885-1 (A):2021 Type A Round End Parallel Key

DIN 6885-1 (A):2021 Type A Round End Parallel Key adopts a Type A round-end parallel key structure to meet the needs of transmitting torque between a shaft and hub while maintaining angular location.

The round ends ease fitting into the keyway and reduce end stress concentration, while the side faces of the key carry drive load in standard shaft connections. Its advantages lie in a clear installation method, well-defined load path, and good adaptability across different materials and installation spaces.

This product is suitable for motor shafts, gears, pulleys, couplings, reducers, and transmission devices. Width, height, length, material, and heat treatment can be adjusted for the final application, balancing cost control, corrosion protection, and assembly consistency.

  • A screw is a fastening tool that utilizes the principle of an inclined spiral plane to join or secure objects together. Its core structure consists of a cylindrical body with continuous threads (like spiral ridges), typically featuring a head at one end for convenient rotation. When turned, the rotational motion is con...

Simply put, a nut is a small metal block or disc with a round hole in the center and internal threads on the wall of that hole. • Simply put, a bolt is a cylindrical fastener with external threads. It works with a matching nut or is screwed directly into a threaded hole of the mating part to firmly hold two or more components together.
