ASME B18.31.1M:2008 Metric Double End Stud

ASME B18.31.1M:2008 Metric Double End Stud has relatively balanced threaded lengths on both ends, making it suitable for metric assemblies where nuts or mating parts may be connected from both sides.

It is commonly used in flange connections, pressure-vessel accessories, equipment mounting, piping components, and mechanical joints requiring detachable maintenance. The double-ended thread supports position adjustment during assembly and simplifies later replacement of nuts or matching parts.

Overall length, thread length on both ends, unthreaded section size, material strength, and surface finish should be reviewed. For high-temperature, corrosive, or pressure-related service, suitable materials and inspection controls should be selected according to project requirements.
