DIN 7504 (K):1995 Self-Drilling Tapping Screw

DIN 7504 (K):1995 Self-Drilling Tapping Screw combines a hex washer head, drill point, and self-drilling tapping thread and is suitable for assemblies that require drilling and fastening in one step while providing a broad bearing area.

The washer head reduces local indentation on thin panels, the hex head suits fast socket installation, and the self-drilling tapping design improves field productivity. Compared with ordinary fasteners, this form places more emphasis on controllable installation, surface protection, and efficient management of matching parts for engineering projects requiring stable supply.

It is commonly used in steel cladding, enclosure brackets, vehicle accessories, HVAC equipment, and metal roofing. According to drawings or service conditions, anti-corrosion coatings, sealing washer combinations, and different length options can be selected to improve overall fastening performance and service life.

  • Simply put, a bolt is a cylindrical fastener with external threads. It works with a matching nut or is screwed directly into a threaded hole of the mating part to firmly hold two or more components together. To put it intuitively, think of it as a "metal nail." However, unlike a nail that is driven in with a hammer, a ...
