ASME B18.31.2:2014 Fully Threaded Inch Series Stud

ASME B18.31.2:2014 Fully Threaded Inch Series Stud is intended for flange bolting and demanding fastening applications within inch-based systems. Its full-thread configuration allows nuts to be installed on both ends to generate secure clamping force for piping, valve, and pressure-equipment joints.

This stud is suitable for petrochemical, energy, machinery, and engineering installation projects, especially where flange compression, gasket retention, and repeat maintenance are required. The standardized inch series supports compatibility with matching flanges, nuts, and washer systems.

Material grades and coating options can be selected according to media exposure, temperature conditions, and corrosion requirements, helping improve reliability during long-term operation.

Simply put, a nut is a small metal block or disc with a round hole in the center and internal threads on the wall of that hole. Its core function is to work with an externally threaded bolt to clamp two or more components to...

It works with a matching nut or is screwed directly into a threaded hole of the mating part to firmly hold two or more components together. To put it intuitively, think of it as a "metal nail." However, unlike a nail that is driven in with a hammer, a ...
