ASME B18.6.3 (H7B-III):2024 Truss Head Square Drive Screw combines a square drive with a truss head, making it suitable for fastening points that require reliable clamping, removable maintenance, and standardized assembly. At the same time, uses a large, low-profile head to provide wider clamping coverage on sheet or softer materials, so the screw can provide stable fastening performance across different sheet thicknesses, appearance requirements, and space limitations.

It is suitable for sheet overlaps, panel fastening, light structural parts, and joints where deep local indentation should be avoided. Supply configuration can be refined by size range, strength grade, thread specification, recess control, and surface finish, making it suitable for use with washers, nuts, or pre-tapped holes.

① If the nominal diameter is specified in decimals, the zero before the decimal and the fourth digit after the decimal point should be omitted.

② "R" in the table indicates normal insertion depth. "S" indicates short (shallow) insertion depth.

③ The inner wall of the square groove is slightly tapered to ensure that the insertion depth gauge matches the coated screw groove. In order to make the insertion depth measurement applicable to coated screws, the manufacturer should leave the necessary machining allowance during production (heading).
