JIS B 1251 (WW/No.3):2018 Wave Spring Washer

JIS B 1251 (WW/No.3):2018 Wave Spring Washer is used in JIS-based assemblies requiring elastic support and auxiliary loosening resistance. The wave profile provides continuous axial reaction after compression, helping compensate for assembly clearance and slight settlement.

It can be used in electrical equipment, small machinery, instrument assembly, thin-sheet connections, and positions where preload control is needed. The WW/No.3 form provides spring action within limited height and reduces the possibility of loosening caused by vibration or material compression.

Material and surface treatment can be selected according to mating thread size, working load, and environmental conditions, balancing elastic retention, corrosion resistance, and consistency in mass assembly.
