DIN 5417 (M3200/SP):2011 Fastener

DIN 5417 (M3200/SP):2011 Fastener for rolling bearings with ring grooves is used for axial positioning in bearing systems. Its design is intended for grooved bearings or related mounting components and helps prevent unintended displacement of the bearing on the shaft or in the housing.

The product is suitable for motors, gearboxes, precision drives, pumps, and rotating machinery. A retaining ring occupies little space in bearing assemblies and creates a mechanical stop with the groove, helping maintain bearing operating position and assembly clearance.

Selection should consider bearing size, groove dimensions, speed, load, and lubrication environment. Material and surface condition can be matched to corrosion-resistance or cleanliness requirements.
